What’s In My Handbag

So here is anther fun post about What’s in my handbag? Let’s talk about the weekend first, filled with fun & laughter as it was my sister in law’s birthday. You probably saw that on my Instagram  🙂  Had too much cake. So a bunch of us bloggers decided to do a collaborated post on What’s in our handbag or diaper bag. The diaper bag was getting too overwhelming for me, plus I need to organize it first to do a post on it so I decided to go with my purse. I have always loved bags & shoes. If I see a nice bag at the mall, I would get stuck on it for days till I get my hands on it lol. But a lot of times I also just let the feeling slip away, can’t always buy whatever I like, right.
So let’s go digging in my purse, shall we?

Current Handbag: I keep switching my bags around but not as frequently as I use to do in my university days Lol, I would literally match bags with my outfit, those were some fun days. This one is from Guess that I got from Florida, really loved the unique color combination & how the red color gives it richness. On the plus side, it has a zip on the top so basically perfect for traveling too. I don’t like when bags are open & anything can fall out.

Wallet: I got this Michael Kors one from my sister in laws on my birthday. Simply loved it! Just recently started using it, was using a white Guess one before. So basically this has all my credit cards, driving license, health cards & etc. Basically, all the paper mess that you can find hehe. Does anybody else find it completely impossible to keep the wallet organized? If you have any tips for that feel free to share. My wallet turns into a tornado zone every few weeks. 🙂

Key Chain: This adorable little hijabi keychain I got from Dubai. We keep our car keys separate & house keys separately. I always keep the keys in my wallet or my diaper bag’s zip. I don’t like looking through my bag searching for keys so I try to keep them in a separate pocket. It’s one less thing to worry about.

Cell Phone: I have a bunch of beautiful cases for my phone, that I switch around once a while. A phone is a must, no life without it nowadays.

Makeup bag: I have been using this bag for a while. It’s a Victoria Secret pouch that I got from Dubai & I store all my makeup essentials in it. Narciso Rodriguez travel size perfume, Smashbox travel size mascara, Urban decay black liner, Vasanti Matte crush pencil in Mauve (seriously hooked on it), NARS pressed powder, Victoria Secret Tease Noir perfume travel size, extra hijab pins, bobby pins, hair ties, lip balm, tweezer & a small nail file.

Hot Sauce: Is it weird that I carry hot sauce sachets with me, you know the ones you get from Popeyes. Lol, It’s just that I have loved Tabasco for a very long time & sometimes when I feel the food is bland or the soup, I love to add some hot sauce. 😉 especially when we are at Ikea and we order the Salmon with their delicious creamy sauce. My hot sauce adds the perfect spice to it.

Hand Cream: My skin tends to get really dry & I can’t stand it, so I always have a hand cream to use. These days I am using Victoria’s Secret’s Tease. Really moisturizing & smells great too.

Lush Sample Size Ocean Salt Scrub/ Karma Cream: I love these two so much, whenever I am done with them I would refill them. The scrub because I could use it as a scrub or face wash & karma cream smells heavenly, it’s breathtaking & so uplifting. I am a big Lush fan & you must check my most recommended Lush products here.

Napkins, Wipes, washcloth: I always keep some extra in my purse for Zahra or for any sort of accidents. Like the other day, I spilled coffee on myself & was so thankful that I had a bunch of napkins in my purse. Talk about perfect timing 🙂

Swiss Knife: We got this tiny cute one on our Honeymoon in Switzerland. This one was from a cruise in Lucern, beautiful place I must say & this swiss knife is light weight, just adorable with a tiny scissor, nail file, screwdriver, and Knife.

I kinda feel like there is a little world in every women’s bag hehe. And we are so crazily dependent on it. I had a hard time not carrying a purse and just relying on a diaper bag after my daughter was born but then I started keeping them separate because I use to miss my bags.
