Shopper’s Drug Mart: Own the Holidays

So this happened! Shopper’s Drug Mart Own The Holidays– Yes, I ended up celebrating Christmas in August Because *drum roll* I was invited to a wonderful event by LexPR for the Shopper’s Drug Mart 2017 Holiday Preview, basically discovering what’s new in the stores, from awesome decor ideas to gift items like toys, electronics, beauty & much more. Shoppers Drug Mart has got you covered, with the most amazing ideas for all the friends, family or anyone else that’s made your gift giving list this year.

This was my second event & I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was that there will be makeup & Christmas decor & that was more than enough for me to attend. I have always loved and admired Christmas decoration, that time of the year is just the best. Lights, shopping, hot chocolate and all the warm fuzzy feelings. The holiday season is the best season.

So the event was from 5:30 to 8:00 & unexpectedly I pretty much stayed the whole time. I told my hubby, to pick me up in an hour but that didn’t happen. I got to meet so many fellow bloggers & we instantly clicked, like long lost friends, hehe.

Location:
The event was at a private residence but as soon as I got off the car I could see huge Christmas trees inside the house & instantly, I knew that this was the place. What blew my mind after entering was the beautiful decoration. The house was divided into different sections; Beauty, Nails, Electronics, Toys & Kitchen Stuff.

Beauty:

So many different talented makeup artists were doing makeup on bloggers & of course giving them their best tips.  They shared some of the best products & some of the looks were superb and I know achieving a perfect holiday makeup look is tough but they did a great job. What really caught my eye was the Stila Holiday Liquid eye shadow gift set, it is super  sparkly & gorgeous.

 Nails:
Of course, we could get our nails done & we surely did. Who is going to miss this opportunity! Always have your nails look pretty! The amazing thing happened though when I was getting my nails done, I found out that QUO is now making breathable nail polishes. Basically, Muslim women can pray in them. And that was pretty awesome to know.

Electronics & Toys:
Let’s talk about the Panasonic VR. This was my first time trying it out & I can’t wait to actually play a game with it. It is astounding how technology has progressed so much & we can actually experience a totally different environment being somewhere else. I get to experience being in an Aquarium filled with beautiful fishes & I was actually waiting for a shark to come and attack my cage but that didn’t happen lol.

And in a corner there was a cute little section. It gave me all the fuzzy feelings & eventually made me miss my daughter. Shoppers Drug Mart has such nice collection & ideas for holiday gift items, especially for your kids. You definitely have to check this place out.

Kitchen Stuff / Food:

On the right side of the room, there was a holiday dining table, all set up looking simply stunning. I can’t even imagine decorating like that, it was just super gorgeous. It was a perfect setting for Christmas.

I have always loved my random trips to shopper’s for milk & then ending up in the beauty section, always checking the new stuff out. FYI Shoppers is like 5 minutes away from our house. I am thankful that I was invited at this beautiful event & get to share with so many beautiful people out there. 

And without knowing 2 hours passed & it was time to head home, grabbing our awesome goodie bags and Also the customised perfumes! They actually had our names printed on them. Guerlain smells beautiful..
