Honestly, I don’t understand how is it October & we are already so close to New Years. Also, October is my birthday month. Birthday’s are not fun anymore as we get older eh? It was more fun as kids, all about the presents & stuff. (going off topic here) Lol, I am super excited for Fall though, I love the Vanilla scented candles & when the leaves change color. Just so beautiful. so let’s jump right into what I am loving these days.

Of course, we all know her, who doesn’t? She has changed the whole youtube game with her natural comedian skills & a go-getter attitude. Reading her book has been fun. It’s basically a step by step guide/ self-help book. Something that you can read again and again. So far, I have been enjoying it, will surely share a review once I am done. To be honest, reading a good book always excites me & especially a book that inspires.

This is Us
Currently, I and hubby are loving this show on Netflix. I think we are on episode 8, seeing their problems & challenges & how they cope with them as a family has been great to watch. A show which has all the emotional elements of love, joy, triumph, and heartbreak. If you are in search of a light-hearted, feel-good show. this could be it.

Huda Beauty Lip Contour Set

I wanted to buy Huda Beauty lipsticks for a while but heard mix reviews. This contour set seemed like a good way to try different shades and along with the lip liner. The shades are beautiful and I love the matte feel of it, wouldn’t say that it’s very long lasting but still does a good job. The box has even stuff written on it in Arabic so that means it’s coming directly from Dubai eh? so cool. (now I miss Dubai)
John Varvatos (Artisan Blu)

My dad loves the original scent of John Varvatos, it’s like one of his favorite scents. So, when I got a chance to try the Artisan Blu I was pretty excited. It has a citrusy feel to it which exhibits an elegant and refreshing personality. Also, it has a side of it that completely reminds me of the serene seaside blended with fresh waterfalls. Ahh, I can’t stop smelling it, hubby loves it too. It could definitely be the gift for Holiday seasons.
Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink
CAD $7.96 (Walmart)
I don’t even remember for how long I have been using Maybelline products. But currently, Super Matte Ink really impressed me, this lipstick doesn’t budge. And I literally have to remove it with a makeup remover. On the other hand, It’s long lasting, super pigmented, matte finish and has an awesome collection of shades. If you are looking for something cheap that really works? This has to be it. I have this in shade Lover 15.
Maybelline Master Bronze & Hi-lighting Kit
CAD $13.96 (Walmart)
What I love about this palette the most is that it’s travel-friendly, lightweight & has such beautiful colors. There is one Hi-lighter and three bronzer shades. All the shades are beautifully pigmented, & swatch so smoothly. The texture is super creamy, easily blendable and so easy to work with. Maybelline always has impressive quality compared to their price.
Maybelline The City Mini Palette
CAD $11.96 (Walmart)
Another jackpot with Maybelline, this one is an eyeshadow palette. I simply love how pigmented and buildable these shades were, super creamy as well. They come up in 4 combinations of shades, DOWNTOWN SUNRISE, CHILL BRUNCH, ROOFTOP BRONZE & URBAN JUNGLE. My favorite one has been Downtown Sunrise for sure.
