October is my favorite month, not just cause it’s my birthday month but also because I love all the fall and Halloween vibes. Being a horror movie addict, I use to be thrilled about new releases around Halloween. I have had a chance to attend so many amazing events in the past month or so, and get to try so many awesome products as well. So let’s get into what I am hooked for the Month of October.
Watching:
The Bates Motel & Stranger Things
So I have been on a hunt to start watching a good show for such a long time, maybe after finishing Breaking Bad. Although we had Game of Thrones on our “watching next” list we jumped to Stranger things & Bates Motel. I am seriously hooked on Bates Motel, every episode has twists and turns. But you will enjoy it only if you love suspense and thrillers. In addition to that, I love horror movies but not the crappy ones. Movies like Annabelle and The Conjuring.
Monthly Goals:
Using my beautiful notebook from Sheendipity, and from now onwards, I am accountable to you guys for my monthly goals and next month I will discuss If I was able to achieve them or not. I am sure it will be a hit or miss but better than not trying eh? so here goes nothing:
– I want to make some career choices & find a path of what I wanted to Pursue in the field of Marketing.
– I want to start working on a Social Cause to create awareness & try to make a difference, somehow (I still have to figure this one out).
– I want to get back to exercising– AGAIN!! ( so bad at this)
– I want to finish the book How to be a Bawse which honestly I was not enjoying in the beginning but loving the second half.
– Feel more connected to Allah.

Soap & Glory
First of all, can we take a moment to admire their packaging? ok. Let’s continue. The first time I saw Soap & Glory was in Dubai, in Boots Drug Store. I was in awe for their packaging. Soap & Glory is originally from England and now they made their way to Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart. Woo Hoo!
Currently, I am obsessed with these products & cant stop using them.
Creamy Clean On Me Shower Gel

Don’t you love it when you smell amazing after taking a nice shower? And your skin is Soft & well moisturized too. Creamy Clean on Me shower gel contains natural mandarin peel extract and scented with the original Pink fragrance, which by the way I am in love with. There was a time when I stopped investing in a good shower gel because they all felt the same but since I used this one, the creamy texture got me addicted.
Smoothie Star Body Buttercream

A super nourishing, pistachio, almond and sweet vanilla scented body buttercream for irresistibly smooth and ultra-soft skin. You know, I was sold after reading Buttercream and sweet Vanilla. But when I tried it, that’s when the magic happened. It’s lightly whipped, contains shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil and cocoa butter, basically all the essential oils needed to make the perfect moisturizer. I can’t wait for winter to indulge in this jar of body butter.

I am seriously enjoying both of them but leaning slightly towards Sugar Crush because it has a fruity lime twist. And Lime always gives a zesty fresh feeling. On the other hand, the original Pink scent is more like a Summer Breeze. And this one is slightly citrusy too. I love these bottles because of being lightweight and I can just throw them in my purse. Definitely, perfect for later in the evening touch up.
BASD Coffee Scrub (Mint)

If you guys remember, I went to this awesome Mindful Beauty event, It was all organic & Canadian products. In addition to all the fun, I found BASD Body care products there. Although Coffee scrubs always seem so enticing I never got a chance to try one until now. It smells like mint & works wonderful, taking off all the dead skin & gives a very smooth feeling. And the mint makes the whole experience so refreshing.
