Hello, Beauties!
Let’s talk about hair care today! Here is an introduction of my hair: My hair is fine, thin, silky, and straight. I had to give a hair type introduction otherwise how will you know ;). Managing my hair has never been hard due to the silky straight texture. But because of the silkiness volume has always been a problem for me. Also after giving birth a lot has changed especially my hair. Hair fall has been on & off since then & I am always looking for ways for it to stop or slow down. So recently I was sent these amazing Moroccanoil products. I have heard great things about them so trying them out was pretty exciting. I used the products for almost 2 weeks before posting up this review.
Moroccanoil co-founder Carmen Tal was miles from home when, after a routine color service gone awry, she experienced the powerful Moroccanoil Treatment while traveling. As she witnessed the transformation of her hair instantly revitalized, going from damaged to shiny, smooth, manageable, she went on a quest to share the magic of this argan oil hair treatment with women across the globe.
Moroccanoil products are mainly inspired by Argan oil. They also have this addictive signature scent. Argan oil is rich in minerals and antioxidants & there is no doubt about the numerous benefits it provides. They have something for every type of hair which is pretty impressive. Moroccanoil’s collections include repair, hydration, smooth, volume, scalp balance & so much more. Now let’s get to the review:
Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo:
Price: 250 ml/ $25
Packaging: The iconic teal & orange color is used for branding & solid sturdy plastic bottle is easy to use.
This is my first time using this shampoo, I have heard great things about it but never got a chance to use it. The first thing I noticed was the scent. Oh so heavenly! After taking the shower I couldn’t stop smelling my hair. I used the shampoo & conditioner first and then the oil treatment on damp hair. Coming towards the aftermath of shampooing. I let my hair air dry because that’s what I normally do. Unless I have to go somewhere then I blow dry so that I can tie by hijab peacefully. My hair felt softer & slightly thicker compared to before. and I really liked that. I was so used to the silky fine feeling that It took me few days to figure out what was going on with my hair. LOL! Nevertheless, I loved it!
Moroccanoil Hydrating Conditioner:
Price: 250 ml/ $26
Packaging: The conditioner is a white and orange bottle with the similar plastic bottle & flip cap.
The conditioner is extremely light and creamy. Normally, I am very reluctant towards using a conditioner because most of them make my hair greasy in a day. But this one didn’t. I apply the conditioner to the tips and then wash it off.
Moroccanoil Treatment:
Price:
25 ml/ $17
50ml/ $36
100ml/ $49
Packaging: This is a glass bottle with a twisted cap on top and a separate pump. I threw my twisted cap & later on regretted it because it was perfect for traveling.
I am always a bit hesitant to use serums or oil treatment because that means that my hair might get oily soon. But I really enjoyed using these & honestly it didn’t make my hair limp. Also, it does make hair shiny. Overall I enjoyed using this product.
Conclusion:
Overall I really liked the products. About the oil treatment though. It claims for a quick drying time but that is something I didn’t see happening but other than that it definitely made my hair silky and smooth. The price is a bit of a factor but if you feel like splurging a little for your hair care routine, this could be a good option. Have you tried these products? What do you think?
