Being mothers, we are running on two things, Coffee/tea and lack of sleep. I know that my stressful & hectic life is not changing anytime soon so I decided to change my skincare instead “Hello Dermalogica!” I believe that it is essential for a happy mental state that you must look your best, always. That’s why I am always hunting, searching & reviewing different products for you guys & of course for myself too. In this case, my hubby was interested too to try it for his dark circles lol. Dermalogica has seriously been one of my favorite brands for skincare products. When I used the superfoliant, I couldn’t get my hands off my face. Dermalogica recently launched their Stress Positive Eye Lift & I was sure that it would not disappoint me either.
After giving birth, I noticed that I was struggling more with dark circles & tired eyes. Sleep seems like a luxury now. I have been on a constant hunt for a product that would work for my eyes. But let me tell you something, no product is magic. It always requires constant application & consistency. Even the results take some time to show. So here’s my verdict for this product, it’s awesome!
Stress Positive Eye Lift:
The skin around the eyes is some of the thinnest and most delicate on the body. This makes it one of the first to show signs of stress ( Calling all the mommies lol) We are seriously never rested. I couldn’t understand the name, why “Stress Positive” eye lift? because the concept is, we will always have problems, issues, things we hate dealing with = Stress! Stress is never leaving us, so why not deal with it positively so, therefore, Stress Positive. You know I am all about positivity & when I saw their ad I simply fell in love with it.
Benefits:
The Positive Eye Lift has a cooling cream-gel which works just like a masque. The gel absorbs into your skin & you will feel a slight tingling in a good way. It has so many great ingredients to reduce the visible signs of stress, puffy eyes & dark circles. So it basically firms skin to help generate a lifting effect, brightens dark circles & makes them less visible & de-puffs the under-eye area. Now, who doesn’t want all that happening with one product?
Directions:
It comes with a beautiful silver applicator attached to the tube. The silver massaging applicator has a great cooling effect & I felt so relaxed after applying the gel mask. I loved the massaging technique Dermalogica shared on their website, You can see that here. It was truly needed & left it on for 5-6 minutes though you have to leave it for 3-5 minutes. I was literally about to doze off with it because it was so soothing. I massaged the excess product into the skin.
Final Thoughts:
I woke up and I was like wow. My eyes did feel brighter & less puffy too. I simply love it! You know it’s always a hunt to find products that work for your skin & when you find one you know it’s a keeper. My mommy eyes literally needed this boost of energy & I am so glad I found it.
