I feel so bad for my skin. It goes through so much, like if you think about it. We don’t even realize how polluted our environment is & how much that is accelerating the aging process. In addition to that, the weather has been so cold and dry, it has been taking a toll on my skin.
Being a mom, I don’t have the time in the world to go through multiple steps of facial and cleansing my skin, I am being honest here. Before having a kid, there was never a day that I would sleep with makeup on but now things are a little different. I needed something that would really clean my skin & I wanted to see a difference right away, dermalogica did the trick. I never used any of their products before and also this is not a sponsored post.
First of all, let’s understand this, Dermalogica has two similar products MicrofoliantDaily & Daily Superfoliant. After doing some research I found out that Daily Microfoliant has more of a scrubby texture. I didn’t personally try it yet, but it has great reviews as well. Anyways, coming back to Superfoliant:

Packaging is great, it’s a sturdy plastic bottle with a nice cover to keep it from getting wet.
Texture:
The color & texture kind off reminded me of the glam glow mud mask from Sephora. The powder has a texture similar to charcoal and it’s slightly granulated. It forms a pasty solution when mixed with water.
How to Use:
First of all, wipe off all your make-up then you take a half teaspoon out powder & mix it with water. It will turn into a paste. After applying it to your skin, you scrub your face for 40-60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with water. Honestly, I couldn’t stop feeling my skin after using it. It was baby soft & super smooth. I could see a difference in my skin right away and it seemed more radiant plus healthy, it seriously looked like I just had a facial.
How Often To Use: I have a combination skin and it certainly depends on your skin type. In my case, I don’t use it daily, I feel that using it twice or thrice a week is more than enough. The powder texture gives me more control over how much product I want to use, so that’s also a positive point.
After getting pregnant & having a child I feel my skin has drastically changed, Slight signs of pigmentation & random breakouts. Before, I never use to worry about any of these. I seriously feel that I am going to stick with this one a little longer. Dermalogica did an amazing job with this product, mixing anti-aging properties with a scrub. I will highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a quick fix and healthy radiant skin.
